Leweston Pentathlon Club in Sherborne is looking for an experienced epee coach to run their fencing programme. The role involves working with pentathletes and fencers at the Pentathlon academy two days per week (Wednesdays 1200-2045, and Thursdays 1200-1800) with breaks and meals provided.
The Leweston club has many members, plus full sets of equipment and kit. The successful candidate will take on the running of the club into the future and building on the club’s success for young fencers. Payment details to be discussed with the successful candidate.
Duties include 1:1 lessons during the day, group sessions, running an evening club session that’s open to the public and training days. There is also the possibility of being involved in Easter and Summer camps. Accommodation can be arranged for the Wednesday evening.
There is potential to run more courses and training days, using the facilities at Leweston School. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic coach to develop this thriving community even further.

Qualifications:
* Fencing Coaching Qualification Level 2 or 3 Epee Coach
* First Aid at work (Can work towards first aid qualification)
* Safeguarding working with children
