My client are a leading earthworks contractor. They are looking to onboard a foreman to help deliver an ongoing infrastructure and civils scheme being delivered. The ideal candidate will have a solid background and knowledge of bulk earthworks and civils.
Foreman responsibilities:
* Responsible for day-to-day running of general earthworks activity.
* Work with the Works Manager and Engineering team to set the plans for the work and then execute them.
* Lead and motivate a team of skilled workers.
* Maintain high standards of safety and quality.
* Managing health and safety.
* Reading and working to 3 week look ahead programme.
* Liaising with the client, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
Foreman requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* CSCS card (Gold).
* SMSTS.
* First aid.
* Experience with bulk earthworks/ earthworks.
* Full UK driving licence.
* IT literate.
