Title: Payroll Systems Tester - 9M FTC
Location: Rushden - Hybrid
Salary: £35,000
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll System Tester on a 9 month FTC, to support payroll system enhancements, upgrades, and implementations.
Key Responsibilities
*
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for payroll system changes, upgrades, and implementations.
*
Develop and execute detailed test plans, scripts, and scenarios.
*
Validate payroll calculations including PAYE, NI, pensions, and statutory payments.
*
Identify, log, and track system defects through to resolution.
*
Liaise with payroll, HR, IT, and external vendors to ensure accurate system functionality.
*
Support parallel runs and reconciliations during system changes.
*
Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal controls.
*
Provide clear documentation and reporting on testing outcomes.
Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience in UAT testing within a payroll environment.
*
Strong working knowledge of Oracle payroll systems.
*
End-to-end payroll processing knowledge.
*
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*
High attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Ability to manage multiple testing cycles and deadlines.
*
Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
