Do you have a knack for managing a diverse range of properties from acquisition to disposal, and are seeking a thrilling opportunity to join a visionary Real Estate Management Team determined to make a tangible difference in Kents community?
Join our team of property professionals, either as a General Practice Chartered Surveyor or an aspiring one, and provide invaluable property advice on land and property matters. You'll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and delivering a high-impact Estate Management service. Your expertise will shine as you handle complex transactions and navigate contractual and legal matters with finesse.

As a surveyor in our team, you'll be at the forefront of transformative estate management. Your proactive approach and innovative mindset will drive positive change and elevate the portfolios and assets under your care.
We currently have exciting vacancies in both our Estates and Disposals & Investment teams. These roles are based in the picturesque County of Kent, offering a unique blend of beautiful countryside, coastal destinations, and historic towns and villages.
What you'll do:
Deliver proactive property advice and guidance to KCC and its partners.
Effectively manage you/your teams portfolio professionally, prioritising its requirements in a timely way to mitigate risk.

7. Maximise value, minimise operational costs/liabilities, and promote efficient use of assets.
8. Implement activity, change and operating policies to ensure that portfolios of land and property are managed effectively.
9. Deliver a programme of property estate deliverables in accordance with KCCs Strategic objectives, including Framing Kents Future.
10. Ensuring value for money through driving externally procured property consultancy advice as necessary.
What you'll need:
11. A Level 5 qualification (Diploma or Degree) or advanced level professional knowledge or qualification.
12. Established experience in a similar environment working with a range of occupied and unoccupied assets.
13. Extensive experience and expertise in managing property transactions of varying complexity, driving value and quality of service.
14. Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
15. Ability to think laterally with a problem-solving approach.
