Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days per week)
Salary: £13,520 actual per annum (£22,533 pro rata)

About the role
The Pear Tree Centre is a modern, bright and welcoming space. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Pear Tree Centre’s Manager, Staff and Volunteers and help with smooth day-to-day running to create a calm, welcoming environment for visitors. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.
You will:
* Welcome visitors and direct them to appropriate support when required
* Sort post and manage incoming emails and phone calls
* Order office stationery and information leaflets as necessary
* Ensure refreshments are available and stored in accordance with health and safety standards
* Assist the Centre Manager in maintaining a high standard of comfort and cleanliness
* Assist with the collation of the monthly Newsletter
* Set up and maintain a filing system (online and paper) in collaboration with other staff
* Assist with the management of the volunteer rota as required
* Manage Centre bookings for services/therapists/activities
* Set up and manage electronic folders, apply GDPR principles, carry out DBS checks as required
* Aggregate and report on footfall and other activities as instructed by the Centre Manager
* Manage and record cash received at the Centre
* Assist with payable invoices and forward to Finance Manager for payment
* Assist with social functions and fundraising as necessary

You will need:
* A good standard of general education
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work empathetically across diverse populations
* Good IT skills (Windows, Microsoft Office, online cloud-based software)
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, reliable, with a flexible and adaptable approach
