The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Side Loader Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Newport. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous side loader experience looking for ongoing, stable work within a fast-paced yard environment.
You will be working as part of a hardworking and safety-focused team, supporting the day-to-day movement and organisation of materials across site.
Duties will include:
* Operating a side loader forklift to move timber and other large materials
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Organising and storing stock within the yard
* Supporting general yard operations as required
* Following all health and safety procedures
* Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
* Valid side loader forklift licence or previous side loader experience
* Confidence handling long or awkward loads
* Good awareness of yard safety and manual handling procedures
* Reliable and hardworking attitude
* Ability to work well within a team
Working hours & pay:
* Monday to Friday
* 07:30 - 16:30
* £13.50 per hour
* Weekly pay
