This is a pivotal leadership role within the College, offering the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the English and Maths provision across all campuses.
Working closely with the Assistant Principal and the senior leadership team, you'll be an inspiring leader with a strong background in either English or Maths, who brings multi-site management experience, having successfully led teams across various locations. Main Responsibilities of the Director of English and Maths:
# Lead the strategic development and delivery of English and Maths across all campuses.
# Provide effective leadership and management of staff across sites, ensuring optimal deployment of resources.
# Design and develop a responsive curriculum that meets student needs, college priorities, and sector standards.
# Contribute to the design and implementation of the college-wide curriculum strategy.
# Drive quality through the College's improvement cycle, setting and upholding high standards.
# Support staff development through appraisals, CPD planning, and robust performance management.
A recognised teaching qualification.
Proven leadership and management experience in an educational context.
A strong track record of improving teaching and learning quality.
Experience in curriculum development, staff deployment, and budget management.
In-depth knowledge of English and Maths curriculum areas.
