Do you believe every child deserves to feel safe, heard and supported?
Are you driven by respect, guided by responsibility and motivated by real ambition to make a difference?
Do you want to be part of a dedicated safeguarding team where your work genuinely changes lives?
If so, we would love to hear from you!
Your role:
As our Safeguarding Administrator, you will be at the heart of our commitment to creating a secure, nurturing environment where students feel protected and valued. You will work closely with our Safeguarding Manager and DSL team, supporting the coordination, accuracy and responsiveness of our safeguarding provision.
Monitor safeguarding inboxes and MyConcern logs, gather the voice of the child, manage online safety monitoring systems, liaise with external agencies, ensure vital records are up to date, and provide calm, confident administrative support in situations where sensitivity and discretion are essential.
To thrive in this role, you will bring strong organisational skills, excellent written English, the ability to work with accuracy and confidentiality, and the resilience needed to support a fast‑paced safeguarding environment. You will be confident using ICT, able to communicate effectively at all levels, and committed to carrying out tasks with care, clarity and consistency. Experience in a school or safeguarding setting is helpful, but what matters most is your dedication to protecting young people and your willingness to learn.
About us:
At Queen Katharine Academy, you will feel the impact of your work every single day. You will join a team that embodies respect, supports your professional ambition, and trusts you with real responsibility. Our culture is warm, inclusive and collaborative – a place where staff feel valued and where safeguarding is at the centre of everything we do.
As part of Thomas Deacon Education Trust, you will also gain access to high‑quality training, professional development pathways and a supportive network of colleagues across the Trust. You will be encouraged to grow, contribute ideas and develop your expertise in a role that is both meaningful and rewarding.
Thomas Deacon Education Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The Academy will require the successful candidate to provide satisfactory references and undertake an Enhanced Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
At Thomas Deacon Education Trust, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all. We welcome applications from everyone, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. Join us in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where all contributions are valued.
