Your New CompanyAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business based in the Cheadle area.
Your New RoleWorking as part of a small, close-knit finance team, this role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of purchase invoices.This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and has strong attention to detail.As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:
* Processing a high volume of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
* Matching, batching and coding invoices
* Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Managing payment runs
* Assisting with month-end processes
* Maintaining accurate records within the finance system
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Previous experience in a high-volume purchase ledger role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience using COINS software would be highly advantageous.
* Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
