About Our Client
Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Poole and do require travel to their offices.
Job Description
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for:
3. Daily, weekly and monthly processing for all individual and group accounts
4. Sales posting and reconciliation on our practice management software
5. Reconcile all key control accounts
6. Completion of quarterly VAT returns
7. Processing of all purchase invoices
8. Payment and monitoring of staff expenses
9. Disbursement processing
10. Credit control
11. Bank receipt processing, including daily banking
The Successful Applicant
To be successful for the Bookkeeper position, you must:
12. Have previous experience in a similar position
13. Strong basic bookkeeping skills, with a good understanding of Sage (or equivalent package)
14. Ability to review and reconcile all key control accounts
15. Strong verbal and written communication skills
16. Highly organised, accurate and attention to detail
17. Excellent administration, planning and organisational skills
18. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages
19. Self-motivated, proactive, approachable
20. Ability to balance workload and consistently meet deadlines
