Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Pot Washer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation and ensuring all kitchenware is hygienically cleaned and ready for use. Responsibilities
* Washing pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment to high hygiene standards
* Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as required
* Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
* Organising and storing clean kitchenware in designated areas
* Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods by ensuring all necessary items are available for cooking and serving
* Adhering to food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times
* Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently
Skills
* Experience or familiarity with food preparation and cooking processes is desirable
* Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards
