Were looking for a driven Associate Director, Technical Solutions to lead the day-to-day operations of our UK Technical Solutions team. Reporting to the Director of Technical Solutions, youll play a pivotal role in delivery high quality systems, driving operational excellence, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture. What Youll Do Lead and support the UK Technical Solutions staff; a team of approx. 50 Software Developers and Testers spread across three UK offices. o Developers are using C#, ASP.net, MVC, LINQ. o Testers are using a combination of manual and automation testing. Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software for use in Clinical Trials. Take a lead role in the recruitment of new technical staff as we look to significantly expand the team. Oversee the onboarding of new staff and the development of the existing staff. Ensure compliance with business, technical and regulatory standards. Drive performance through effective resource allocation, risk management, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic oversight & direction of our technical solutions UK team. About you To be successful in this role, were looking for you to have: A robust technical foundation, including a Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, along with extensive hands-on expertise in software development and project management. Proficiency in both Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall methodologies is essential, as well as comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader and team motivator, capable of combining strategic thinking with strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are crucial. The candidate should be adept at delivering high quality outcomes while effectively managing multiple priorities with precision.
