The International Shipping Supervisor will be responsible for supporting a multi‑disciplined team in the delivery of production requirements and for scheduling all work orders through the manufacturing process. This role takes control of all planning and physical logistics operations and manages all aspects of scheduling and supply chain for International Shipping.
Responsibilities:
* Support the management of the import/export & shipping function, supervising a team of analysts and overseeing consolidation & export of material from origins (UK, China, India, Malasya) via sea, rail, air freight and customs through bonded warehouses.
* Ensure accuracy and adherence to schedule release and shipping/export standards, including engineering and launch operations.
* Maintain clear processes for shipments and for replacement engines/parts and scheduling adjustments.
* Help resolve change requests required in SAP systems to optimise processes.
* Monitor, control, and report component stocks and shipping status in line with schedule parameters—time, quality—and escalyze issues where appropriate.
Qualifications:
* Experience in material planning/logistics, preferably from motor manufacturing/FMCG or supply‑base industry.
* Ability to quickly understand and challenge logistics processes.
* Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/CMMS3).
* Experience with process mapping and design.
* Advanced analytical and MS Excel skills.
