A weingprimary school in Gloucester is looking for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting younger pupils and contributing to a positive, nurturing classroom environment.
The Role
1. Full‑time KS1 Teaching Assistant
2. Supporting pupils across Year 1 and/or Year 2
3. Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy activities
4. Providing small‑group and occasional 1:1 support
5. Helping to maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
6. Working closely with the class teacher and wider team
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
7. Has experience working with KS1 pupils (school‑based experience desirable)
8. Is enthusiastic, patient and proactive
9. Can support early learning and follow structured routines
10. Works confidently as part of a collaborative primary team
11. Ismitted to helping young learners thrive
