Ashlong House Domiciliary Care is looking for a competent Support Worker to support physically or mentally challenged customers in their everyday lives. Responsibilities
* Support adults with learning disability and mental health conditions in their own homes
* Help with skills development
* Medication in compliance with local guidelines
* Assist with shopping and activities
* Attend medical appointments
* Provide emotional support
* Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
* Record information in documents and service user files on a daily basis
* Prepare meals and drinks as required and serve meals
* Assist with personal care
* A caring attitude and a willingness to make a difference
* A desire to see vulnerable people treated with care and respect

Main duties
* To support/care for a set number of Service Users in their own homes
* To record information in documents and service user files on a daily basis
* To prepare meals and drinks as required and serve meals
* Assist with personal care
* Provide emotional support
* Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
* To commit to follow a training programme in accordance with the National Requirements, and accept responsibility for your professional development
