Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for a Freight Sales Support and administrator to be part of their UK Sales team. Job summary * To manage the gathering of sales leads and action initial contact via phone with prospects * Liaise with the field sales executives regarding warm leads * Assist the head of sales with statistic gathering, report writing, database management. Key roles and responsibilities * Assist the Head of Sales in the execution of their duties in support of the Managing Director’s vision of the company to become more competitive and profitable. * To build and increase the company’s customer base including further promoting the awareness for the company. To manage & generate new leads and identify new prospects for the UK sales team, by telephone calls and e-mails * To diarise and plan all follow up calls and actions on e-mails. Fully planned days’ work for telephone calls and planning of follow up.
