Hybrid Working (2 days from home/3 days in the Assessment Centre)If you're a clinician with broad experience across multiple adult conditions and want structured work with predictable hours, this role offers a alternative to traditional practice.If your experience has been focused on a single speciality or limited patient group, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.This is not a hands-on clinical role. It is report-based and requires strong report writing skills and comfort with structured frameworks.The RoleAs a Functional Assessor with Ingeus, you'll use your clinical reasoning to assess how health conditions impact daily living.You will:Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessmentsReview medical evidence and complete clinical triageUse focused questioning and active listeningProduce clear, structured reports to strict standards that enable DWP decision making.What You NeedTo be considered, you must have:NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictionsMinimum 12 months' recent UK post-registration experienceHave been a practicing as a clinician in the UK over the last 12 months.Experience working with a wide range of adult conditions across different clinical scenariosStrong written communication skills and be comfortable using computers.High attention to detail and objectivityThis role will suit clinicians who:Are confident assessing varied health conditions (physical, mental health, long-term)Can adapt their clinical reasoning across different patient presentationsAre comfortable producing detailed written reportsTraining & Working Pattern6 months supported training to achieve DWP approvalHybrid working post-trainingFull-time hours with predictable schedulePay & BenefitsUp to 10% annual bonus (paid quarterly)Starting salary - £44,862 Salary at 12 months - £46,862 + potential to earn an additional £2000 local bonus for this site.Further salary uplifts aligned to new skills & development will continue to apply from year 2.£2,000 referral scheme25 days leave + BHCPD + registration fees paidPrivate pension & medicalIngeus is a Disability Confident Employer.
