About the Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin's Restaurants Department in Skegness! Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in running our kitchen and leading a fantastic team of talented chefs.
Your passion for delivering exceptional experiences will shine as you monitor and develop action plans focused on continuous improvement. With your strong leadership skills, you’ll inspire your team through daily briefings, manage stock control, and ensure every dish is presented beautifully.
Financial performance is key in this role, and you’ll be responsible for achieving food cost budgets through effective menu planning and adhering to cooking standards. You’ll also uphold food hygiene standards and health and safety regulations in line with legislation and company policies.
As a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, you’ll ensure training schedules and performance development plans are in place for your team, motivating them to create memorable experiences for our guests. Join us and embrace the variety that makes this role exciting!
About You

* Energetic and enthusiastic with a fun-loving spirit
* Understanding of your role and the value you add to the guest experience
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification is a must
* Confidence in leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Experience in managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health and safety standards

This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, totaling 40 hours, so flexibility is essential. Be prepared for some late shifts, including 4am finishes, especially during our exciting adult breaks. Plus, there’s a bonus scheme!
