An exciting opportunity has arisen within Radiology NHS Fife. We are looking to appoint Radiography Assistants to join our friendly cross sectional team. The MRI/CT Service provides an extended 7 day service across two sites. You will be providing clinical support for Radiologists and Radiographers ensuring the comfort and safety of the patient undergoing MRI/CT. You must be a team player who is enthusiastic and can work flexible hours to include extended days and weekends. Previous cannulation and vital signs skills are desirable as this is an essential part of the role, however training can be given. Experience within a Radiology department and knowledge of the Radiology Information System would be advantageous although training will be given. Acute service provision requires a flexible approach to working patterns. You should be able to travel and work efficiently and effectively in various work locations within NHS Fife, to meet the requirements of the service. A commitment to Public Holiday rotas and extended working days/weekends to meet the needs of the service is essential.
