Experience working in a childcare setting is required for this role. A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable but not essential. Pay: up to £12.45 per Hour *plus accrued holiday pay Working Hours: Zero hour contract - This gives you flexibility to work different shifts each week depending on the Nursery needs, between 8am-6pm - Monday to Friday. We ensure our nursery rooms are warm and welcoming for the children, complete with carefully selected natural resources that tie into our unique curriculum and enhance the children’s learning and development. Own transport is required due to the Nursery village location - Lots of free and easy parking but if you don’t drive, the local bus route that runs through the village is 5A bus which runs every hour and a half through the village from St. Ives to Barhill. We are located in Fen Drayton on the high street, offering easy access to the A14, A1307 and M11 in both directions. We are set back slightly from the main road and we are right next to the The Three Tuns pub. What Your Role Involves As a valued member of our team, you’ll: Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework. Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents. Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
