Job Description
London Door Company has been crafting bespoke, high-quality luxury doors for over 35 years. Our exquisite exterior doors are designed to complement every style of home. Hand-finished in our London workshop and installed with the utmost attention to detail, London Door Company has a solid reputation for delivering the high standards that discerning clients demand.
Main Aspects of the Role
1. To measure area accurately to ensure door/frame fits.
2. Complete all paperwork/reports prior to client review.
3. Check site access for furniture and vehicles.
4. Review furniture content and material with the client to confirm work to be carried out.
5. Discuss and agree on any changes needed.
6. Return all signed documents to the office.
7. Discuss any changes needed with sales if required.
8. Assist the DO with the SAF process, including site visits when necessary.
9. Assess the viability of the fit, create an action plan for fitters, or recommend rejection if needed.
10. Ensure all work complies with company specifications.
11. Handle all client queries promptly and ensure timely payments.
12. Conduct site safety inspections and monitor working practices of fitters.
13. Visit installations and fitting teams when needed.
14. Monitor fitting teams, ensuring vans and equipment are properly maintained.
15. Own the job until final completion, including collection of deposits and final payments.
16. Complete reports on-site or after visits, avoiding reliance on fitters or clients' instructions.
17. Maintain company car to high standards and ensure it is well presented.
Primary Requirements
* Experience in fitted furniture and/or door installation industry.
* Geographical mobility.
* Driving license.
* Managerial experience.
* Good communication skills.
* IT literacy.
KPIs
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Maintain high standards and prioritize workload.
* No remedials or accidents due to negligence.
* Weekly reports submitted by Friday.
* Collection of deposits and final balances.
