About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Quality Improvement Manager to lead a transformation within the quality function of a large-scale aerospace and automotive manufacturing business.
This is not a traditional quality role. Were looking for a change agent someone who can challenge the status quo, ask the right questions, and drive a cultural shift from reactive quality control to proactive quality assurance.
The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying and resolving issues within the quality function, building a robust and future-focused quality system, and inspiring teams to take ownership of quality at every level.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the transition from reactive quality checking to a proactive, assurance-led approach.
2. Investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
3. Build and embed a culture of accountability, ownership, and pride in product quality.
4. Coach and mentor teams to develop quality awareness and capability.
5. Ensure metrology and shop floor quality systems are fit for purpose and support continuous improvement.
