About The Role

At Arco, the UK’s leading integrated health and safety experts, we are looking for a dynamic New Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead new business acquisition strategy, targeting and converting key prospects through a combination of self-generated and qualified leads. The role will focus solely on new business wins, covering the entire UK, with an emphasis on the North of England, and offers an uncapped commission structure.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Actively hunt, contribute, and deliver against the new business strategy based on relevant insight, market trends, and research.
2. Propose profitable new business commercial opportunities aligned with growth plans.
3. Manage internal relationships to drive sales pipeline processes.
4. Promote relationships with BDMs to create joint win strategies.
5. Strategically approach customer acquisition to promote the Arco brand and proposition.
6. Coordinate internal and external resources to secure new business.
7. Develop and drive tailored value propositions for target customers.
8. Enhance understanding of customer H&S requirements through personal development.
9. Utilize technology and tools to improve the sales process and maintain accurate data.

Candidate profile:
* Effective use of Challenger Sales methodology for prospecting and acquiring new opportunities
* Driven to win profitable new business quickly
* Strong negotiation and conversion skills, comfortable with diverse stakeholders
* Knowledge of market and competition
* Ability to analyze sales and P&L data to inform strategy
* Excellent presentation skills to articulate Arco’s benefits and services
