You should have a degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in a related subject and a teaching qualification or a commitment to obtaining one within a specified period after commencement and a good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 or above. This post is based at Suffolk New College Ipswich campus. However, Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site therefore you may be required to work at and travel between campuses. About us The Directorate of Service Industries and Science is an exciting and vibrant area of the College delivering qualifications from Level 1 to Level 5 in a wide range of subjects including; Health and Social Care, Childcare, Sport, Military & Protective Services, Hair & Beauty, and Science. Health and Social Care is a popular and growing area within the college, with approximately 200 students. Courses are offered at Levels 1, 2 and 3, including the Health T-level route. We are currently investing in our facilities and equipment to ensure that students gain up-to-date knowledge and experience in preparation for working in this important sector, and work in close relationship with ESNEFT and several local and regional organisations and employers. A high proportion of our students go on to work in the health sector or progress to higher level study at university.
