Pottery Cafe Manager (Retail/Hospitality) - Camberley, Surrey Step into a Studio Manager role in our Camberley Pottery Cafe where you’ll guide the team, delight our customers, and keep our pottery cafés buzzing with creativity. Bring your people skills – we’ll teach you the pottery magic! As Fired Frog continues to grow, we’re on the hunt for a Camberley Shop Manager to lead our amazing team. So, if you’re someone who Is ready for a new challenge Loves speaking with customers and making their day brighter Has solid retail or hospitality experience Is organised, pro-active, and doesn’t mind rolling up your sleeves for a bit of cleaning sparkle ✨ then this could be the perfect role for you! 4 days per week (Camberley) Studio Manager We’re looking for a confident, warm and organised Studio Manager to lead one of our two successful pottery cafés. This is a hands-on role for someone with previous hospitality or customer-facing management experience, who loves people, enjoys running a busy creative space, and takes pride in keeping things calm, welcoming and well organised. You’ll lead the studio team, oversee day-to-day operations, and make sure every customer has a great Fired Frog experience. You’ll work closely with the owners and Woking Manager to keep the studio running smoothly, safely and profitably — while still feeling like the relaxed, creative space our customers love. A full UK driving licence is required, as the role supports studio operations across locations and outbound events. Weekend working essential. What's involved? You’ll always know your shifts in advance — we plan the rota 4 weeks ahead so you can plan life around work. Day-to-day, you’ll be: Managing the day-to-day running of the studio Leading, training and supporting the team Maintaining excellent customer experience and studio standards Overseeing kiln schedules, glazing quality and pottery turnaround Ensuring health & safety and cleanliness standards are met Managing rotas, bookings and studio systems Handling customer queries and issues Supporting workshops, events and in-studio promotions Hosting kids’ parties Capturing baby hand & footprints Optional extras: If you love teaching, there’s the chance to run creative workshops (with extra hours available). Who we’re looking for: This role is ideal for someone with hospitality, retail, or even teaching experience who enjoys a fast-paced, people-first environment. We want someone who’s: ✨ Pro-active ✨ Bubbly and positive ✨ Confident with people of all ages ✨ Ready to make every visit to Fired Frog a memorable experience Location: Camberley, Surrey Salary: dependent on experience. Minimum 5 years hospitality experience required.
