Description
The Accounts Assistant duties will include:
* Input all purchase ledger and sales ledger invoices
* Management of SAP business partners, keeping them update to date and reconciled.
* Preparation of weekly payment run and payment wizard management.
* Processing Payments/Receipts
* Bank and petty cash reconciliations
* Credit Control
* Journal Postings
* Dealing with Customer/Supplier requests, and collaboration with customer services on ad hoc finance queries.
* Management of open PO and GRPO, working with account managers across the business, chasing timely receipting and delivery of invoices.
* Maintain/facilitate other ad hoc finance queries
Profile
The successful Accounts Assistant should have the following:
* Demonstrable experience within all transactional functions (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control)
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* A keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data management
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced FMCG environment
