We are looking for Graduates for our Mobility Transport Planning teams, who have an adaptable approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse range of clients and projects.

Our Mobility - Transport Planning teams take a people and place-based approach to consider mobility for all parts of society. We collaborate with clients across the UK to develop effective and sustainable strategies that deliver positive social, environmental, and economic outcomes. By making spaces accessible and inclusive, we help communities to thrive and ensure they can be enjoyed by future generations.
Day-to-day activities
* Data Analysis: Collect and analyse transportation data.
* Project Management: Assist in planning and monitoring projects from concept to delivery.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders on projects and their areas of interest.
* Decarbonisation and future mobility: Integrate green technologies and sustainable planning as part of our solutions to projects.
* Policy Development: Contribute to transportation policies and approaches from national guidance to local implementation strategies.
* Innovation and Research: Stay updated with industry trends.
* Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impacts of projects on all stakeholders.
Liveable Places
Our Liveable Places team plan, design and deliver projects from idea to construction, helping a wide variety of clients across the UK re-envision and reshape places to help people and communities thrive. Graduates may work on projects such as the development of the Regional Transport Strategy for the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority or the design and delivery of Gloucestershire’s ambitious cycle and walking network.
Liveable Places parking projects involve gaining engineering skills while also developing data analysis, CAD, public and stakeholder engagement, GIS applications and Parking legislation. Activities range from site visits to identify locations and recording current street restrictions to drawing up proposals for consultation and implementation.

* Scheme Design – Active Travel, Bus priority, Road Safety
* CAD, GIS, Modelling
* Option Development
* Project Management
* Site work
* Data analysis – Excel and PowerBi
* Parking Design Preparation
* Gaining knowledge of TSRGD and Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 3
Strategic Modelling
Our Transport Modelling team undertakes a range of modelling work from Strategic Modelling to Micro-simulation, Public Transport Modelling and Pedestrian Modelling. Models assess interventions and their effects on mode share, routes and trip destinations, including changes in development impacts.

Graduate Development Programme
Two-year programme designed to support personal and professional development through a blended learning experience. It includes core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on-the-job experience. We support career growth from the very beginning with opportunities to pursue chartered status with relevant bodies.
What we will be looking for
* You will have graduated with at least a 2:1 in a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree.
* Complete the application form in full answering all specific questions.
* Be ready to start in April or September 2026.
* Demonstrate passion for planning and consulting, and an interest in the built environment, infrastructure, places, and the economy.
* Be comfortable handling and interpreting data and understanding transport models and GIS software.
* Show enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems, with an ability to generate new ideas.
