Care Assistant role at Wood Care Group. We care for residents’ Physical, Psychological and Social needs, assisting with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and meals. We welcome applicants with or without previous care experience and provide full training.

About You
Above all, we’re looking for kind and caring people who want a job where they can really make a difference to people’s lives. You’ll also need:
* Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or care certificate (desirable, not essential as training is provided).
* Previous experience in a care home environment is desirable but not essential.
* Experience of leading a team.
* A committed and organised approach.
* A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Flexible to work shifts.

Responsibilities
* Attend staff meetings.
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs of the home; participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training.
* Understand safeguarding responsibilities; develop skills to reduce the risk of abuse or neglect for adults who need care and support. Ensure safeguarding and whistleblowing policies are adhered to at all times.
* Provide evidence of any training completed.
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment.
* Complete all training as determined by the home.
