The Role: You will be responsible for maximising the performance of Landsec’s Retail property portfolio through support on the management of acquisitions, divestment and other capital investments. You’ll use your knowledge, skills and experience to work across teams and sectors and contribute to the strategy execution, reporting into the Investment Director. Salary: Competitive The Team: This role will report to Investment Director, sitting within Retail Portfolio Team. Location: This role is based in London, Victoria, and offers hybrid working, with majority of the working week (4 days) in the office. We recommend discussing arrangements with the hiring manager to find the best fit for both you and the role. What you will be responsible for: Responsible for underwriting, coordinating and originating acquisitions and sales. Lead and manage the evaluation and execution of deals/projects: Conduct comprehensive and in-depth financial analysis. Synthesise and concisely visualise data (recommendations, market analysis, financial reporting) using PowerPoint and other reporting formats. Prepare recommendations and delivering insightful presentations to Internal Committees. Coordinate DD process, market research and legal reviews. ​ Assist with the development and implementation of investment and sales strategy, conforming with Group requirements. Contribute to strategic Asset Management of the portfolio, including repositioning or repurposing of assets, ensuring a high level of commercial and financial rigour is applied to decision making. Support in the preparation of business plans and forecasts. Develop and maintain a strong network of agency, landlord and other key stakeholder relationships. Your skills, experience and qualifications: Essential criteria Highly numerate, preferably with real estate, finance or other valuation experience Strong modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel (Argus Enterprise desirable) Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience of writing and presenting information Technologically savvy Ability to digest changing market conditions and apply industry knowledge to different situations Life and Benefits at Landsec We have a great benefits package, there to support you with your work-life balance and in moments that matter.
