About The Role

Are you the type of person who enjoys regularly interacting with customers, offering support with inquiries, and seamlessly converting them into sales? If so, this could be the role for you.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Operations & Recon Sales Administrator to oversee multiple critical functions within our Survey business. This multifaceted role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a background in Administration, Time Critical functions, and Coordinating Multiple Tasks.

In This Busy Role Your Duties Will Include

1. Refurbishment, testing, and resale of second-hand instruments.
2. Ensure compliance with quality standards for all refurbished equipment.
3. Coordinate with sales and procurement teams to manage stock levels and pricing strategies.
4. Drive margin improvement through effective lifecycle and inventory management.
5. Help implement processes and tools to improve team productivity and case resolution times.
6. Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.
7. Track KPIs and generate regular performance and support reports.
8. Administer Smart Net and SIM card services, including activation, deactivation, and contract management.
9. Help maintain accurate records of SIM usage, billing, and asset linkage.
10. Monitor data usage and performance, ensuring compliance with usage policies.
11. Oversee asset tracking, maintenance records, and stock levels.
12. Ensure field teams have the right equipment, fully operational and compliant with safety standards.

To succeed in this role, you will bring the following skills and behaviors:

1. Skilled in customer management, handling inquiries and issues face-to-face and over the phone, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
2. Strong background in retail, customer service, and sales, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer experiences in busy, target-driven environments.
3. Hands-on experience managing products across multiple stages of the supply chain, from receipt and storage to inventory control and final distribution.
4. Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a highly supportive, collaborative approach.
5. Comfortable using judgment and initiative to make decisions in line with company policies and pricing structures.
6. A flexible and adaptable approach, enjoying a varied workday in a fast-paced operational environment, managing multiple tasks, deadlines, and targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
7. A good level of computer literacy in MS Office and ideally in Sales Operating systems, with a willingness to learn new IT systems and leverage technology in your role.
