You will be expected to work 5 days per week.*ABOUT THE ROLE:*As a *Commis Chef *or *Chef de Partie *you will be fundamental in the effective day to day operations of the kitchen. Our small professional team works closely together with an ‘all hands on deck’ approach, therefore excellent team working skills are essential.You will be driven and passionate with a *genuine enthusiasm for all things food and a keen interested in provenance and sustainability*. We’re looking for outgoing, positive people who genuinely love cooking and have flair and creativity in the kitchen.*REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:** *2 years professional kitchen experience* at a similar level* An understanding of cooking and preparation techniques* Exceptional standards of food hygiene procedures* Awareness of food allergens and their importance* NVQ L2 Food Hygiene qualification - although training can be provided.* A cool head in a fast paced environment* *Bonus points for: fish filleting and seafood preparation **ABOUT US:*Prawn on the Lawn is an *award-winning, Michelin Guide restaurant *celebrating *fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients*.
