We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Reception SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils with special educational needs in their Reception classroom. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs). Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment. Support pupils with a range of needs including communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional and mental health, and sensory or physical needs. Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required. Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to reviews and assessments. What We're Looking For: Experience working with children in an educational setting, ideally within Early Years or SEND. A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications - Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
