Salary: £110,000 – £130,000 (depending on experience)

St Margaret’s Hospice Care is seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to shape the future of specialist palliative and end-of-life care across Somerset. For over 40 years, they have been at the heart of our communities, delivering outstanding clinical care and holistic support to thousands of patients and families every year.
As they look ahead to a rapidly changing health and social care landscape, they need a visionary leader who can inspire trust, champion innovation, and ensure sustainability while staying true to their core values of compassion, collaboration, and ambition.
Your leadership will:
* Drive strategic vision and organisational growth
* Ensure clinical and operational excellence across all services
* Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and empowerment
* Build strong partnerships with NHS, commissioners, and community stakeholders
* Safeguard financial resilience and uphold the highest standards of governance
* Represent St Margaret’s as a trusted voice in palliative care locally and nationally
You will bring:
* Significant senior leadership experience in health, social care, or the charity sector
* A proven ability to lead complex organisations through change
* Strategic clarity, emotional intelligence, and resilience
* Strong financial acumen and a commitment to person-centred care
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
