Data Engineering Manager
Salary - up to £110,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Hybrid working - x3 days a week in office (Central London)
Spencer Rose are currently on the look out for a Data Engineering Manager for one of their key clients based in Central London. Within this role, the Data Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a Global team of Data Engineers spanning across the UK, Dubai & Australia.
The Data Engineering Manager will have the following responsibilities -
* Lead global engineering teams across data platforms, SharePoint, and Power Apps, ensuring clear purpose, consistent ways of working, and high performance.
* Drive high-quality data engineering delivery by embedding strong standards, maintaining sprint discipline, and guiding planning to achieve predictable, efficient outcomes.
* Collaborate with DTO, IT, Product, and Project teams to align priorities, remove blockers, and promote a data-driven culture.
* Manage vendor engineering teams to ensure quality delivery, alignment with Multiplex standards, and strong value for investment.
The Data Engineering Manager will need to have the following skills/experience -
* Must have experience leading/managing a team of Data Engineers (Ideally responsible for a team of 5 or more)
* Must have hands on experience with Data Bricks, Power Platform & Azure Fabric
* Previous experience working within the Azure cloud space
* Must have experience managing Vendors.
