£30,000 per annum
We are delighted to be working with a global leader in the food manufacturing industry.
Due to rapid growth and expansion, our client is looking to employ a Buyer to work at their site based in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
The main duties of the Buyer will include:
1. Negotiating prices and discounts
2. Placing and chasing purchase orders for the business including raw materials and electrical control gear
3. Making sure stock is maintained at an appropriate level
4. Ensure the equipment is delivered on time, keeping up to date regarding the status of manufacturing projects
5. Working to budgets given
6. General administration work
7. Reviewing the short allocations report
Key Skills and Relevant Experience:
8. Experience withing a similar role ideally within manufacturing
9. Excellent attention to detail
10. Time management skills
11. Good admin skills
12. Excellent customer service
13. Previous experience of managing an ERP/MRP system
14. CIPS qualification preferred, but not essential
