As a BDR focusing on the public-sector market, you'll play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and nurturing relationships. Your efforts will contribute directly to our organization's growth and impact.Key Responsibilities:Identify and engage key decision-makers in the public sector through thorough research.Utilize various channels, including email and LinkedIn, to generate interest in our products and services.Manage a database of tender opportunities, including deadlines and bid strategies.Cultivate partnerships with voluntary and community sector (VCS) organizations to enhance collaboration on consortium bids.Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team, aligning client needs with our solutions.Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for smooth lead handover and support in creating impactful communications.Contribute to client renewal efforts and maintain accurate records in Hubspot CRM.Stay informed about industry trends and government policies related to children and family services and public health.Occasionally attend business development and market engagement events.Qualifications and Experience (Required):Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Policy, or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in sales/business development.Experience working with B2G and/or public sector and/or voluntary and community sector (VCS).Familiarity with local government procurement and commissioning processes.Proficiency in Hubspot CRM, Marketing, and Sales Hubs.Skills and Attributes (Required):Strong sales acumen and understanding of lead qualification strategies.Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.Proficient in research and analytical skills for identifying opportunities.Adaptability to changing priorities and market dynamics.Initiative-driven with a collaborative mindset.Perseverance and customer-centric approach.Skills and Attributes (Desired):Previous experience selling software solutions or technology services.Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar software.Experience working in a small, remote team environment.If you're ready to join a dynamic team dedicated to making a positive impact, apply now by sending your CV!
