* Location: Field-Based – Wakefield and surrounding area (South & West Yorkshire)
* 20 days per year, plus 8 Bank Holidays
* Type: Full-Time | Permanent (40 hours per week)
At KCM, we’re looking for a Sales Executive to champion our award‑winning waste and recycling brand across West Yorkshire. If you enjoy being out and about, meeting new people, nurturing relationships, and turning conversations into clients, this role offers you the opportunity to work with independence and real impact.
About the Role
This is a full-time, field-based position focused on growing our Trade Waste Services to small business community, shops, restaurants etc.; this position is 90% field based, customer facing. Reporting to the Head of Sales.
you will:
* Represent KCM in your area, proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities
* Cold Call and have a presence within the local business community.
* Attend weekly sales meetings at our head office to review progress, refine strategies, share insights, learn best practices, and align with company objectives
* Work closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar field-based sales role.
* A confident, engaging, and persuasive personality – someone who enjoys connecting with people
* Resilience and persistence in pursuing leads and closing deals
* Full UK driving licence
* Must be based near to Wakefield, and have good local knowledge
