We are currently looking for a passionate Public Area Attendant to join the team here at Bankside Hotel - Voted one of the 'Best Places to Work Hospitality' 3 years in a row. Sitting consistently in the top tier of all the hotels in London on TripAdvisor, Bankside Hotel is a social hub for anyone, guest or local, with a passion for culture, art, and food. What will you be doing?
1. Keep all lobbies and public facilities in the hotel, such as the main lobby, toilets, ground floor terrace, reception balcony terrace, the front desk, bar, restaurant, and meeting rooms in a neat and clean condition as per Standard Operating Procedures.
2. Maintain all staff facilities under the housekeeping department's responsibility in a neat and clean condition as per Standard Operating Procedures.
3. Promote a positive image of the hotel to guests, being approachable, honest, friendly, and ready to assist with any guest queries.
SHIFT PATTERN
8 hours a day, 5 days a week on rotation (early shift from 7 am to 3.30 pm & late shift from 2 pm to 10.30 pm).
Qualifications & Skills required
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
* Basic English communication skills.
* Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
* Ability to work in a busy, customer-oriented environment with attention to detail, maintaining high standards daily.
