As the business continues to expand, they’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Credit Controller to join their small, collaborative team and play a key role in managing the day-to-day financial operations. The Role This position would suit someone with strong experience in bookkeeping and credit control who enjoys working in a close-knit team within a fast-paced environment. Core responsibilities include: Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers Uploading supplier invoices to the system Raising credits in Unleashed Processing payments and managing the payment run Reconciling bank statements and overseeing cash flow Issuing customer invoices and statements Chasing overdue payments and managing credit accounts Preparing VAT returns and assisting with monthly accounts Supporting with queries from suppliers and customers Working closely with directors and external accountants Candidate Expectations by Salary Level: £25,000 – £30,000 range: Daily allocation tasks Uploading and processing supplier invoices Managing payment runs Raising credits using Unleashed Supporting general credit control and finance functions £30,000 – £33,000 range: In addition to the above, candidates should bring experience in: Cash flow management Forecasting and budgeting Pricing analysis and oversight More strategic financial input and decision support About You Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or credit control role Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) Excellent attention to detail and time management Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone AAT qualification (preferred but not essential) Able to work independently and take initiative in a small team setting Perks & Benefits Competitive salary, based on experience On-site parking Supportive and friendly working environment A chance to be part of a passionate, food-loving team Stability within a well-established and growing business Apply now to be part of a business that brings craft, culture, and bold Mexican flavours to life every day.
