The successful candidate will work as part of a Support Services Team, delivering a high-quality, safe and effective service to clients that has a positive impact on the wider community in accordance with contractual obligations and company Policies & Procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities To provide Housing related support to assist clients live independently in the community. (This will not include personal care tasks). To be available to work at times appropriate to the changing needs of the client and for the efficient use of staff resources To assist in the assessment of needs and risks as relevant to each Client and to assist to set and attain realistic and achievable targets To monitor and record the client's progress and support tasks delivered during shift. To provide a range of services appropriate to the individuals needs To assist Clients develop the skills needed to attain, maintain and sustain stable tenancies To promote Client involvement and active participation in the service. To work in a multi-agency manner with relevant professionals To act as an advocate for Clients as appropriate
What we need from you; Minimum of one years' work experience, working within housing, social care or equivalent setting with vulnerable Clients (Young People, Children or Adults) Knowledge of Safeguarding issues, practices, and procedures Able to demonstrate good communication skills Able to demonstrate good recording and reporting skills Proven ability to effectively support and work as a member of a team Good understanding of health & safety Able to demonstrate a good level of IT literacy Strong commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement and the delivery of best practice Able to demonstrate flexibility, self-motivation, confidence and ability to use initiative Good organisational skills Able to be flexible on approach to work and adaptable to change. Ability to work flexible hours when required Full EU Driving Licence and access to a car
