Milk Education is seeking a passionate and experienced KS3/KS4 Teacher to join a supportive and nurturing school community in Redhill, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers with experience in PE, Humanities, or Vocational subjects to make a real difference to the lives of secondary school students.
About the Role
You will be responsible for teaching allocated classes, delivering high-quality lessons across the Secondary curriculum. You will plan, prepare, and present lessons tailored to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils, promoting engagement, achievement, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4, following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work.
2. Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ learning, progress, and achievements.
3. Adapt teaching to meet the needs and strengths of all pupils.
4. Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
5. Support pupils’ preparation for external assessments and qualifications, up to GCSE level.
6. Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and a supportive classroom environment.
7. Use ICT effectively to enhance learning.
8. Work collaboratively with colleagues and school staff.
Requirements:
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
10. Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
11. Knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
12. Strong classroom management skills.
13. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with pupils and colleagues.
14. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection protocols.
