Are you a visionary leader with a passion for shaping product strategies that drive business success? We are searching for an exceptional Product Strategy Director to join our team and report directly to the Chief Product Officer. In this pivotal role, you will lead the formulation and execution of long-term product visions that align with our business goals and market opportunities.
Role Purpose
As the Product Strategy Director, you will serve as a vital link between our Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales teams, ensuring the successful development and launch of innovative products. Your leadership will help define our product offerings, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving growth.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Vision and Planning:
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive product strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision that supports business objectives.
* Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities, emerging trends, and customer needs.
* Align product strategy with overall business goals to ensure cohesive execution and market success.
* Develop and manage pricing and promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with category goals and customer expectations.
* Foster a customer-first mentality to enhance product and service delivery, empowering team members and promoting a collaborative environment.
* Apply critical thinking to identify and drive growth priorities across the Bathroom sector
* Lead and inspire a team, establishing the purpose, vision, and strategic goals for Bristan Groups portfolio.
Product Lifecycle Management:
* Create and implement strategic plans for the entire product lifecycle, from launch through growth and possible transitions.
* Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to quickly identify opportunities and potential threats to product performance.
* Adapt and refine product strategies as needed to stay ahead in a dynamic market environment.
What we are looking for:
* Proven leadership experience in a Product Strategy role.
* Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
* Strong capabilities in strategic planning, market analysis, and team development.
* Demonstrated success in delivering sustainable sales and profit growth through effective product strategy, roadmaps & category management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building relationships and developing high-performing teams, while effectively influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Proven leadership experience in a Product Strategy role.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
* Expertise in strategic planning and market analysis to maintain competitive advantage.
