An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rural Surveyor to join a leading land management and consultancy team based in Cambridge. This is a senior-level role offering a blend of estate management and professional advisory work, supporting some of the most prestigious rural clients in the region.
The Role
As a key member of the team, you'll act as principal agent for a selection of estate clients, delivering strategic advice and overseeing day-to-day asset management. You'll also contribute to business development and team leadership, helping to shape the future of the consultancy offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead estate and farming business reviews
* Manage diversification projects and strategic land use
* Deliver secured lending and professional valuations
* Ensure compliance with internal and client standards
* Oversee a high-performing team and maintain strong client relationships
* Identify and develop new business opportunities
Candidate Profile
We're looking for a confident and capable professional with:
* MRICS qualification (Rural pathway preferred), with 3-5 years PQE
* CAAV membership or willingness to obtain
* Proven experience across estate management and rural consultancy
* Strong leadership potential and client relationship skills
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and communication skills
* A flexible and composed approach to working under pressure
* A commitment to confidentiality and professional discretion
