Operations Manager
Location: Haverfordwest Leisure Centre

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced & motivated Operations Manager to lead the delivery of outstanding leisure services at Haverfordwest Leisure Centre — a vibrant, multi-activity hub set against the stunning backdrop of West Wales' Pembrokeshire coast.

The Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the leisure centre and its associated sites, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all visitors. You will lead and develop the Duty Officer team, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, health and safety, and operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
* Overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all facilities, equipment, and services.
* Monitoring budgets, resources, and energy performance to drive efficiency and value for money.
* Ensuring compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and industry best practice.
* Contributing to long-term operational improvements and the delivery of Pembrokeshire Leisure's low-carbon commitments.
We are looking for someone with:
* Significant experience in a leisure management or duty officer role.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving ability.
* Confidence in managing budgets, resources, and service standards.
* A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
(An NVQ Level 3 in Leisure Management is required, with a willingness to work towards Level 4. CIMSPA membership is desirable.)
