Are you an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor who is ready to take the next step in your career by joining a firm where you will have clear career progression? We are recruiting for an expanding law firm in Lincolnshire that is seeking a talented individual to join their team as a Commercial Property Solicitor. This role offers a definite opportunity for the right candidate to progress to a Head of Department role within the next 12 months.
About the Firm: Due to continued expansion and a strong ongoing caseload, this firm is looking to strengthen its commercial conveyancing team. The firm prides itself on providing a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a full caseload of commercial conveyancing matters from start to finish with minimal supervision.
* Handle commercial sales and purchases, leases, declarations of trusts, loan agreements, deeds of covenants, licences to assign, underlet and alter, commercial lending, and transfers.
* Perform fee-earning work accurately and reliably, ensuring client expectations are managed throughout.
* Maintain proper control of work in progress, billing, and recovery of fees.
* Support the Head of Department with the management of junior team members.
* Stay up to date with changes in the law and ensure compliance with CPD requirements.
* Minimum of 2 years recent PQE or equivalent experience in commercial conveyancing.
* Proven ability to handle your own commercial conveyancing files from start to finish.
* Experience in leasehold enfranchisement, small business acquisitions, unregistered land, and knowledge of shareholder agreements and company law.
