Responsibilities: 1. The Battalion Regimental Operations Support Officer is responsible to: -Commanding Officer -RCMO for workforce requirements. 2. Carry out the following Recruiting detailed tasks: -Recruiting SME, organise and support Bn and Sub-Unit level recruiting activities. -Maintain Unit DRS account ensuring all sponsorship requests are followed up and Face to Face interviews / reports are conducted in a timely and effective manner. -Act as the Unit focal point to forecast, to direct and assure unit recruiting activity and Public Military Engagement (PME) management. Including the line management of ReMSOs, and RRMT across the Bn and the data management of in-year recruitment and outflow -Maintain recruiting media and marketing material for the Bn -Support the CO’s recruiting and Unit retention directives -Manage the Bn recruiting team, providing mentoring and management at sub-Unit level. -Be creative in order to improve recruiting across the Bn and grow the Bn workforce significantly. 2. Advisor to the CO on all matters relating to Reserve personnel mobilisation: -Direct and manage the force generation, force preparation, mobilisation / de-mobilisation (where applicable), deployment and execution of all Bn operations, commitments, exercises and SET tasks including POSM of Reserve personnel. -Support to Unit RCMO (when RCMO is exercising the capacity of unit Welfare Officer) as POC for deployed personnel. 3. Act as Unit Welfare Officer for the Bn 4. Act as the CO’s appointed ED&I Advisor 5. Assist with unit support tasks including Bn duties and other tasks as detailed by the CO .
