Discover and convert new business opportunities – from standard lending to complex deals like Development Finance.
Assess lending risk carefully, ensuring each proposal is thorough, transparent, and compliant.
Support client retention and growth through annual reviews and portfolio management.
Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve processes.
Maintain accurate forecasting and sales tracking for smarter decision-making.
Manage borrower requests impacting credit risk to protect the bank’s position.
Encourage feedback and drive service improvements to champion the customer experience.
Who You Are
You are commercially savvy, detail-oriented, and driven by building meaningful relationships with clients and your team. A background in commercial or development lending is a plus, but attitude and ambition are most important.
Skills Required:
* A proven record of success in business development, whether directly or via introducers
* Strong credit analysis skills and commercial acumen
* Excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills
