This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics business operating in the UK as Alloga.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and discreet Personal Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to our Managing Director. This role will ensure the MD’s time is optimised and their daily schedule runs smoothly.
Location
South Normanton, Derbyshire
Shift Pattern
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Key Responsibilities
* Organise and maintain the MD’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel itineraries.
* Handle incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
* Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points from meetings chaired or attended by the MD.
* Draft, proofread, and format documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
* Arrange domestic and international travel, accommodation, and logistics, including visa requirements.
* Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality times.
* Liaise with internal staff, external partners, clients, and stakeholders on behalf of the MD, building positive relationships.
* Work closely with other PAs and EAs to plan meetings and events with appropriate prioritisation.
* Support general office operations, including filing, record keeping, and managing office supplies.
* Assist the MD in managing key projects, conducting research, and preparing briefing materials.
* Organise corporate events, meetings, and functions as required.
* Ensure compliance with local and global policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role, ideally supporting Senior Management.
* Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Discretion, tact, and professionalism in dealing with confidential matters.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in a fast‑paced corporate environment.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
