What you will do
The Vehicle Inspector will work as part of a team and contribute to the smooth running of fleet operations, by ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and duties completed on time and to a high standard.
How you will do it
Reporting faults on vehicles promptly, accurately and appropriately.
Reporting damage to vehicles in line with procedure.
Ensuring all vehicles are parked safely and accurately to ensure space is maximised.
Accurately inspecting vehicles and ensuring all damage/missing items are recorded on the appropriate form, taking photographs and writing descriptions.
What do you need to be successful...
A Full UK Driving Licence.
High levels of attention to detail.
A welcoming, friendly and outgoing manner.
Physically active and able to work outside in extremes of temperature.
Able to act as a trusted advisor and provide exceptional customer service.
Some knowledge of the fleet and leasing industry an advantage.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

As a Vehicle Inspector at Global, you will receive a competitive salary package plus discretionary bonus.
Mondays Fridays 8:00am to 5:30pm with a minimum one unpaid hour break.
£27,000 per annum plus you will be eligible to be considered for a discretionary bonus after 3 months employment.
In line with Automatic Enrolment regulations all eligible employees will be automatically enrolled into a workplace pension.
23 days plus 8 recognised public/bank holidays pro rata per holiday year (running from March to February).
