Edinburgh (with travel to the Isle of Skye)

Full-time | Permanent


Are you starting out in HR or ready to take the next step?


Perle Hotels is looking for an enthusiastic People & Culture Officer to join our friendly central People Operations team in Edinburgh. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their HR career; whether you're a graduate, HR apprentice, or HR Administrator; to gain hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training.


You'll support our Isle of Skye hotels day to day, working closely with experienced HR professionals who will guide and develop you as you grow in the role.


What you'll be doing:

* Supporting recruitment and onboarding
* Leading inductions for new team members
* Tracking training and compliance
* Assisting with employee relations casework
* Producing weekly and monthly HR activity updates
* Managing HR administration and contracts


We're looking for someone who:

* Is organised, approachable, and keen to learn
* Has some HR or administrative experience (desirable, not essential)
* Is CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards
* Is comfortable working with colleagues at all levels
* Can travel to Skye when required
* Has a full clean driver's license

The closure date for the advert will be the 15th March, interviews will be held week commencing 23rd March in Edinburgh or if required remotely via MS Teams. Interviews will be held by the Senior People Business Partner (which this role will report into), second stage interviews will be held informally with the Finance Manager and Managing Director. Start date will be in April, pending candidate notice period.
